Royal Djurg å rden
Located at the heart of the city, the Royal Djurgården is an amazing island which boasts of historical open-air museums, exotic restaurants with great-tasting meals, amazing art galleries that house interesting collections, and exciting amusement parks. Royal Palace
Located in Slottsbacken , this is one of the biggest and most amazing places in Europe . Built in 1754, the official residence of the Swedish royalty .has 608 staterooms open for public viewing. Travelers go to the palace and enjoy the amazing Royal Treasury, the Hall of State, and the Apartment of the Orders of Chilvalry. The Gustav III Museum of Antiquities houses amazing artifacts and antiques. Everyday, there is also a changing of the palace's guards ceremony much like what is done in front of Buckingham Palace.
City Hall
Located in Hantverkargatan 1, this red brick building dates back to 1923 and became the host of the prestigious yearly Nobel Prize Banquet. The building has three gold crowns on top of a tower, and has a wall completely covered with amazing handmade mosaics, the Golden Hall.
Museum of National Antiquities
Situated in Narvargen 13-17, this is an amazing Stockholm museum where travelers can enjoy viewing interesting archaeological artifacts and Swedish national treasures. It also houses an extensive collection of golden precious Viking treasures dating back to the Middle Ages, including a reliquary made of gold and decorated with very stunning expensive stones containing the chalice where the head of Saint Elisabeth of Thuringia, the patron saint of hospitals and nurses, was rested when she died.
