Ocho Rios
This second major tourist town offers a wide range of accommodation and excellent beaches. It also has an airstrip and modern cruise facilities. Some worthwhile sites are the Reynolds Pier, Dunnes River, Carinosa Tropical Gardens, Harmony Hall and the Firefly.
Negril
This is the principal resort area on Jamaica's west coast. Some places of interest are the Bloody Bay, The Anancy Family Fun and Nature Park, Booby Cay, Negril Lighthouse and the Whitehall Great House.
Mandeville
This is the capital town of Manchester Parish. Some interesting places include the Mandeville Hotel, The High Mountain Coffee Factory, Pioneer Coffee Factory, The Magic Toy Factory, The Gourie Recreation Center, Marshall's Pen, Ostrich Park, Appletown estate and the Accompong Maroon Village.
Kingston
This became the capital of Jamaica, after its former capital, the Port Royal, was destroyed by an earthquake. It has many notable places to see such as the National Art Gallery, the Coins and Notes Museum, Institute of Jamaica, William Grant Park, Victoria Crafts Market. African Museum, Devon House, Bob Marley Museum, Caymanas Park, the Folk Musical Instrument Exhibition, the Hope Botanical Gardens, The Military Museum, National Arena and National Stadium, Port Henderson, Two Sisters Cave, Sabina Park, Rockfort Mineral Baths, University of the West Indies and the Zoology Museum.
