Getting Around

By Air
To visit far-off places of India , one can take domestic flights. There are available flights from Indian Airlines and Jet Airways that you can book.

By Bus
There are several buses available in the streets of India that can take you to almost any place in India . Although expect these buses to be a bit over-crowded.

By Train
The train is one of the more popular way of traveling around India . The Indian Railway is considered to be the biggest network in Asia and has around 11,000 trains that run everyday. It covers almost the whole country except for some of the mountainous areas.

When purchasing a ticket, the first thing to do is to check the train table which is called "Trains at a Glance" which has all the valuable information that you need. Then it is necessary to fill out a form that will tell the train that you intend to take, the train number, date of travel, the station, age and sex.

Taxi
Any traveler can hail a cab in India but be a bit choosy in which cab to take because some are very run-down already.

Motorcycle
Motorcycles are easy to rent and it is a popular means of transportation to explore India . Enfield is the brand that is popular in India .
