The Roskilde Festival

Held on the last weekend in June, this annual summer music festival is one of the largest open-air rock events in Europe, attracting thousands of fans and tourists and featuring big names in the rock genre.

Night of Culture

Held in Copenhagen on October 14, locals and tourists alike can see what's happening at the city's cultural venues and other places not usually accessible to the public after dark. Going to multiple events is easy, as streets all over are packed with activity.

Silkeborg Puppet Theatre Festival

Held every other year in Silkeborg, this international puppet festival features shows for children and adults, film showings, and workshops. Shows from Denmark, Spain, Italy, Israel, France, and other countries are usually presented. The next festival will take place in November 2005.
