Paleni Carodejnic (Burning of the Witches) - This Czech version of the Walpurgisnacht is a pre-Christian festival to ward off the evil spirits. But expect no human torches as this is actually celebrated with bonfire parties in Kampa Island and suburban backyards.

Prazske jaro (Prague Spring) International Music Festival - This is a country-wide cultural celebration from the months of May to June.

Mozart Festival - Marked by concerts and other musical performances in the city, of Prague, the classical music of Austrian composer Mozart is celebrated in September.

Festival Jiein (Town of Fairy Tales) - This one-week festival takes place in September, from Monday to Friday. Created in 1990, the town of Jièín is transformed into a town of fairy tales to celebrate the jubilee of J.S. Kubin. Throughout the week, theatric performances, exhibitions, concerts, and fairy tale readings are held.
