Bulgaria is situated in the south east of Europe on the Balkan Peninsula. Although it is famous for its sea resorts, Bulgaria is relatively a mountainous country. It has six different mountain ranges from green slopes to snow-covered peaks. With a variety of ranges, it is expected that distinct customs, crafts, festivals and folklore would exist as well. |
